"We the People" is the first single aimed directly at the Republican campaign, specifically at John McCain and his controversial choice for running mate Governor Sarah Palin. The song illustrates a strong feeling of discontent for decisions that give off a negative, irresponsible connotation. It also touches on Governor Palin's position on issues that are inconsistent with her lifestyle.
